Hurricanes and Cyclones are Moving Slower - What That Means

As hurricanes and cyclones move slower it simply means they extend their punishment over communities longer than they had previously. We all saw the effects with Hurricane Harvey which lingered over Houston and dropped feet of rain causing unprecedented flooding.  This trend has been going on for a number of years and promises to continue into the future.
