Can you imagine being told there is no estimated date for the power in your home to be restored? Sounds crazy. It’s not,
Having enough food and water in your home for power outages is imperative. Three days is the minimum. This means one gallon per person per day of water and enough canned and dried food to sustain all the people and pets in your household. Also, prescription medicines, diapers, and any other important products you may not be able to get during this time. Don't forget the flashlights and extra batteries, a battery-operated emergency radio, and board games.
