Why So Plain?

The VLES GO-bag is intentionally without pomp and circumstance. Meaning, it is plain because that is the way we designed it. When in emergency situations, you want a bag that does not have many snag points, ie. not a lot of stuff hanging off it, so you can easily move through a crowd. You want a bag that does not attract a lot of attention as a snazzy bag would make it vulnerable to theft. You want a bag that will reflect lights at night for visibility purposes and when visibility is not to your advantage, the reflective piping can easily be taped over.

The fabric is water proof and strong and the color hides dirt well. Two sturdy handles, top and side, make holding onto and lifting the bag easy without creating unnecessary protrusions.

Sometimes less really is more.
