The Zippered Pockets In the VLES GO-bag
We designed two zippered pockets into the waist strap. Our concept behind this feature is to have quick access to money, or credit cards, perhaps keys, medication, or identification when wearing the VLES GO-bag as a backpack, or when utilizing the messenger module. (The backpack belt is used as the messenger bag strap - this post shows the conversion to the messenger module).
Our thought behind the messenger module is for it to be used after you've left your home, you've gotten settled, and you need a bag for day-to-day use. The other primary use case is if you need to move extra fast, leaving behind non-essentials in your GO-bag. Therefore, putting critical items in the zippered pockets, makes them accessible in multiple situations.
When configuring your GO-bag, consider your most likely use case and how best to utilize these zippered pockets.
